As a life-long lover of drawing and the arts, Derrick Brinkman is living his calling as chief designer and lead creative at DLB Design. While his passion for entrepreneurship began early, it took a few years to learn to channel his creative spirit into a design career. 

 

As the self-proclaimed president of Derrick’s fan club, his wife Sarah brings practicality and organization to the business – while also handling furnishings and decor for both DLB Design and Design Bar. Together, they are raising their four children in the heart of California’s Central Valley.

We believe in ditching the stereotypes and pushing the bounds of creativity. Good design is highly personal, and is only achieved where it meets functionality.
